There is no Word to say but “The Voice of the Philippines”

The Voice PH coaches and “The Voice of the Philippines” itself is absolutely the Singing Competition we are waiting for; no words to say but “The Voice PH.

No word because the Voice is already there.

First the four (4) coaches namely, Sarah G., Bamboo, Leah Salonga, and Apl.de.Ap got the audience excitement. The caliber and quality of talents they have, no doubt as all of them deserve the seats. Though every coach has its own standards but this is the search wherein you will not only look forward to see the contestants but the amazing choice of the judges.

Second, the screening method and coaching is extraordinary in blind audition. The blind audition created a fair judgment on the voice instead of looks. Coaches will judge each contestants based on the talent.

Lastly, extra ordinary voice for extraordinary judges. Extraordinary voice of the contestants for the win will surely create and pave the way on how coaches build their team of 12.

The pilot telecast created tweets as coaches picked their team. Below are the artists with its corresponding coach.

The Voice PH is being hosted by Toni Gonzaga with Robi Domingo and Alex Gonzaga as the "V" host and social media correspondents.


Episodes air over ABS-CBN at 9 pm every Saturdays and 8:15 every Sundays after Rated K.

Photo of Wendy's employee eating ice cream; Trending!

A certain photo of Wendy's employee eating soft ice cream is now trending over social media and over the net.

On Wednesday, June 12, the photo went viral after somebody posted the unsanitary image of employee of well known food chain in the world over Reddit. The post entitled "
I was going to buy a frosty from Wendys until I saw the employee do this."

The photo shows a man directly eats the soft ice cream without using any tool or utensil.

In a report from Daily News, Bob Bertini, a spokesman of Wendy's, told that the employee is no longer connected with the company."We don't know the exact date the photo was taken, but we believe in it was in May. The incident was totally inappropriate, and we're taking it very seriously”, wrote Bertini in an email. {source}

It is funny indeed but it is unhygienic too.

'Tweet' includes in Oxford Dictionary

Tweet being used in social networking site, Twitter, is included in Oxford Dictionary released on Friday, June 15.

Other words included are “dad dancing” and “geekery”.

On the dictionary latest update in a quarterly update on its website that it had expanded its entries for "follow" (verb), "follower" (noun), and "tweet" (noun and verb) to include social media terms that have exploded in the past six years.

According to the dictionary "tweet" is now a posting on the social networking service Twitter as well as its more traditional meaning: a brief high-pitched sound.

According to Torontosun, "Crowdsourcing", "flash mob", "geekery" and "dad dancing" also earned a place in an OED now containing 823,000 entries.

Flash Mob Meaning

A "flash mob" is a large group of people organized by means of the Internet, or mobile phones or other wireless devices, who assemble in public to perform a prearranged action together and then quickly disperse.

Geekery Meaning

Geekery means knowledge of a particular subject or pursuit and also the state of being a geek or "geekiness”.

Dad Dancing

“Dad Dancing” means an awkward, unfashionable, or unrestrained style of dancing to pop music, as characteristically performed by middle-aged or older men. {source}

Facebook Finally Introduces Hashtag in User Status

Facebook giant finally introduced last Wednesday, June 12, the clickable hashtags over users' status. This will help users to find similar content, issue, event, topic, buzz, and people over other posts.

On FB newsroom, it says, similar to other services like Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, or Pinterest, hashtags on Facebook allow you to add context to a post or indicate that it is part of a larger discussion. When you click on a hashtag in Facebook, you'll see a feed of what other people and Pages are saying about that event or topic. 

Still for user's security there is a control over audience including those with hash tags.

Hashtag has been well known over Twitter which is the basis of trending and what a common user shouts over tweets. 

Have you ever ask how hashtag originates?Have you remembered the IRC chat conversation wherein you need to find common areas or group using a number sign or sharp symbol (#)?

It was on August 2007 when a twitter user Chris Messina posted his first hashtag. According to Wikipedia, his first hastag is “how do you feel about using # (pound) for groups. As in #barcamp [msg]?

As Facebook introduces new features for trends and insights, is it a mere necessity for conversation? Or new discovers to embrace as it is part of our evolving world?
