Five (5) Philippine Universities include in Top 300 Asian universities

Five of the best universities in the Philippines include in top 300 Asian universities by topuniversities.com.

University of Philippines (UP) – Diliman outrun this prestigious ranking in Asia at 68^th rank followed by  Ateneo de Manila University on 86^th.

Among other three are De La Salle University (DLSU) on 142^nd, University of Santo Tomas (UST) on 148^th, and the newest University of Southeastern Philippines in Davao City on 251 to 300.

Compared with last year rank, the first four got a lower rank this time. On previous year UP ranked at 62^nd, Ateneo on 65^th, La Salle on 107^th and lastly, UST on 104^th.

The Philippine government is working on its strength to improve the education system. Still they are hoping that the planned budget will be approved for the development.

On the other hand, The Hongkong University of Science and Technology which is founded 1991 got the top 1 which is seconded by National University of Singapore.

Other universities who make it to top 5 are University of Hongkong, Seoul National University, and The Chinese University of Hongkong. To complete the top 10 Universities in Asia are Peking University, Korea Advance Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), The University of Tokyo, Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH), and Kyoto University.
