“Bagyong Gener” updates July 2012

“Bagyong Gener” as of today, July 29, 2012 at 4  am, based on PAGASA was estimated at 310 km East of Casiguran, Aurora. 

Based on their forecast it will move North Northwest at 15kph.

At around 8 am, Tropical Storm Gener it was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 320 km East Northeast of Casiguran, Aurora (17.0°N, 125.5°E).

At 10:00 am today, the center of Tropical Storm “GENER” was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 310 km East Northeast of Casiguran, Aurora (17.2°N, 125.3°E).

Forecast: Tropical Storm “GENER” is expected to be at 260 km East Northeast of Aparri, Cagayan by tomorrow morning and at 160 km Northeast of Basco, Batanes by Tuesday morning. By Wednesday morning, it is expected to be at 350 km North of Basco, Batanes or 40 km East of Taiwan.

Storm watch Signal no.1 has been declared to Isabela, Kalinga, Apayao, and Batanes Group of Islands. On the other hand storm signal no.2 will be experiencing in Cagayan including Calayan and Babuyan Group of Islands.
