Aika Robredo, daughter of the late DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo, showed her brave and smart composure in Bandila interview on Tuesday August, 21.
She answered every question from Bandila anchors on how great and how his Dad trained them by showing passion of good governance and loving their family at the same time.
Sec. Robredo, eldest daughter, Jessica Marie “Aika” Robredo admitted that she doesn’t want to go in politics and she also cited that she even didn’t know yet if her siblings wanted to undertake the same.

Aika noted that she and her family is now at appease that everyone prays and admires her father. With her simple smile, she believed that the late Secretary is very happy what is happening now which shows her optimistic views despite the accident happened.
“Hindi na namin iniisip ‘yun ngayon, ‘yung paniniwala kasi ng magulang ko, kapag oras mo na talaga, oras mo na,” said Aika. “Napaka-peaceful daw ng itsura ni Papa so kami parang na-appease na din kami. Hindi naman siguro siya nahirapan. Hindi na pumasok sa isipan namin na isipin pa kung ano ang nangyari between 4:40 and 5.”, Aika added in ABS-CBN Bandila interview.
Before the incident, she mentioned that her father is calm saying that he will return call after.
“Kalmadong kalmado ‘yung boses ni Papa, which kami naman, hindi na namin ikinagulat kasi unang-una, malakas ang loob niya sa eroplano. Kung magkakasama kami sa eroplano tapos malakas ‘yung turbulence, kami kabado na pero siya tinatawanan niya lang kami lahat,” she answered. “Hindi siya ‘yung tipong magpa-panic. Paniniwala rin niya na kung oras mo na, oras mo na,” Aika added.
After the interview, Aika mentioned that Robredo’s remain will be in Naga City till August 23 and will be in Malacañang at Kalayaan Hall for all the people in Manila who wants to see his Dad for the last time.
Then by Sunday it will be back again in Naga which tentatively on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 will be the burial.
