MMDA Traffic Mirror launched!

The Metro Manila Development Authority launched its “MMDA Traffic Mirror” website that enables motorists to monitor real time and updated video stream of the latest traffic.

Part of the service are CCTV cameras were primarily installed in key areas in Metro Manila including EDSA-Megamall, EDSA-White Planes, EDSA-Taft, EDSA-Ayala, EDSA-Orense, EDSA-P. Tuazon,  EDSA-Nepa Q-Mart, C5- Green meadows and Marcos Highway.

The traffic monitoring cameras are owned and operated by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), under the leadership of Chairman Francis Tolentino. This traffic channel is 100% produced by NowPlanet.TV, a digital media brand of the publicly listed Information Capital Technology Ventures, Inc. (ICTV) which can be accessed thru

This service is can be viewed using personal computer, smartphone, or tablet device for free (24/7). 
Francis Tolentino, MMDA chairman, also stated that its service also include flood monitoring according during rainy season to a report. Before hand, chairman highlighted, “With the fast changing technology nowadays, Traffic Mirror is MMDA's latest offering to every motorist and commuter who wants to plan their trip ahead and avoid the inconvenience brought about by heavy traffic.”

Aside from that, MMDA mobile app Traffic Navigator was also launched before.

It only shows that Phillippine Government is maximizing Technology potentials in providing public service for many Filipinos.
